Does size really matter? We’ve all heard this age old question about any number of things in the world. Over the last 50 years we’ve been trained as consumers to believe that bigger is better. Think “do you want to supersize that?” or “now 20% more…”.
However, in the world of silver particles for immune support*, smaller is actually better! And size DOES matter because only silver on the surface can be bio-active, and the smaller the particle size, the greater the surface area. The greater the surface area, the more bio-active silver is available. Larger particles lead to unavailable, wasted silver.

Look for Bioactivity
We’ve tested over 200 brands and most other colloidal silvers have around 13% bioactivity or less. While other brands show the total concentration of silver on their packages in parts per million (ppm), they neglect to show the % of silver that is bioactive. When a product is only 13% bio-active, that means that 87% of the silver you take is wasted (and so is the 87% of the money you spent on it!).
Below are Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM) images, taken by an independent 3rd party testing facility, of many popular brands of silver supplements. TEM is the scientific gold standard for measuring particle size.
In the top three, you can see that even though the concentration of silver is the same (i.e. total ppm or particles per million), the pictures reveal drastic differences in particle size and particle distribution. The black areas are large silver particles that result in wasted silver. The body needs fine dispersion and small particle size to be able to use the silver safely* and effectively*.
