If you are following the standard labeling instructions, having an empty stomach is not necessary; we do, however, recommend taking the product 5-15 minutes away from food and drinks. Consult with your health care practitioner for any other dosages. Sovereign Silver® BIO-ACTIVE SILVER HYDROSOL™ is safe* to take up to 7 times per day for 70 years, or a total of 178,840 teaspoons in a 70 year period for one adult. There is no need to take breaks, and, in fact, we recommend a teaspoon per day for daily immune support.*

Dilution is never recommended because the product contains a safe*, low concentration of silver. We strongly recommend against mixing it with saline or other potential binding agents. Note that dietary supplements are intended only for children age 4 and above.

All Sovereign Silver® products carry a three-year expiration date, supported by evidence from stability studies. This means that even at the three-year mark, a silver content analysis would still show a reading of at least 10 ppm (label claim). Over time, the concentration may decrease gradually as the silver adheres to (or adsorbs onto) the inside of the glass bottle or the surfaces of the closure system. It is always best to consume the product by (or before) the expiration date.

We have no evidence that the quality, efficacy, or the safety of the product may affected by freezing and thawing. As long as the bottle isn't broken, you can let it thaw at room temperature and then use.
